Next week I am going to see River Dance at Heinz Hall!
And to think that just one year and one month ago, my friend Sue dragged me to my first Gatherings Dance.
Erin, Thank you for making me be strong and encouraging me to hang in there.

Thank you for the year-at-a-glance newsletter. I wanted to say that I understand the time and effort that goes into keeping the group going and will always be grateful to you for that. The modest membership fee is well worth it. Not only have I had some really fun and new experiences, but I have made a lot of new and wonderful friends. As a result of my Gatherings membership, I have also had the opportunity to cross over into other singles organizations broadening the horizon.
Gatherings has made a huge difference in my life since my divorce five years ago. I hope others will come to the same realization. I would hate to see Gatherings come to a close.

We just returned from a 7 day cruise through Mexico. You have successfully matched another couple.l We still plan on attending Gathering Events as time permits. We really wanted to go to the Kayaking but too tired from the cruise.

Met you at Jim party last December, joined Gatherings, and went to a Northside Dance in January and the first Monroeville dance that month. I found both functions to be very pleasant in that it seemed to be a nice, mature bunch of people with companionship being the driving factor. Met a nice woman at the first dance, whom I dated once, and met the "love of my life" at the Monroeville function. We've been going together for over five months.
I owe my new-found happiness to you and Gatherings, and I wanted to sincerely thank you. Without your efforts, it would not have happened. I'm sure that Gatherings has brought a lot of people together.

How is everything going? Is The Gatherings still "gathering" the singles
of Pittsburgh into your fold? Well I will refresh your memory of
US......You had a singles dance on December 12, 2003 at a very nice place
off of McKnight Road. That is where I met Norm......and the short version
is we are getting married this October 1, 2005, down at Belle Harbor
Marina. We are closing on a home in Florida on October, 14, 2005, and when
he retires in Jan, 2006 we are heading SOUTH!!!!

I have enjoyed belonging to Gatherings for two very special reasons: a new girlfriend to experience my new interests (hiking, camping). The second reason: a new boyfriend to experience all of our common interests (good family, good chemistry). Plus I have had the enjoyment of getting together with other singles my own age to talk about what it's like to be "out there" and single. Gatherings is an excellant way to socialize when you are once again a "onely." It got me out of the house even with my fear of going into an event alone.

I always have a good time at our events. But we meet the best people in
the strangest ways. I was fortunate enough to find someone just by contacting
someone from the newsletter advertising his "side job." I called him to help me
put some deck furniture together, and we've been dating ever since.

and enjoy people socially. The times I have had with Gatherings have been an

Yes I did meet Mary Lou at a Gatherings dance on BabcockBblvd. We have been dating since about thanksgiving, and have a very great time together. Tthanks for providing the setting to meet her!. She was worth the wait! Gatherings is the BEST way to meet a partner, and I have tried them all.

I had a great time at dinner last night. I don't know how you
arranged who sat with whom at the tables, but it seemed as if you
knew all about us when you put my table together. I had something in
common with almost everyone at the table and we never ran out of
things to talk about. You did a great job organizing. I am looking

with Gatherings. I'm sure it's difficult at times but you do such a good
job, and I am so glad to be a member. I have enjoyed every function and
dinner that I have been to. As we discussed last night, some members can
be a bit out of the ordinary but this just makes it all more interesting
of an experience. Joining Gatherings was one of the best things I have
ever done for myself.

Another aspect of your club I find appealing is that I perceive it
not just as a "dating service," but also as a "restaurant club". You
employee a large number of different restaurants, and you seem to
add new ones on a continual basis. I find it interesting that
through your service I can get the opportunity to sample many
of Pittsburgh's finest restaurants.

I just wanted to thank you for a very enjoyable evening last night at Atria's. Where else can a girl go on her first social event
and spend it with 2 guys?? Everyone was very nice and after dinner when the music started we combined tables and all had a
good time. I am looking forward to the future events.
I would like to sign up for the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater on 4/19/02, the Comedy Dinner Show on 5/3/02 and really planning

Your business is a wonderful idea--it's so comfortable to meet people in larger groups where men and women are not necessarily
'matched' except by an age-criterion that you ask us (your clients) to provide.
Gatherings is an easy, unintimidating atmosphere in which to meet interesting singles. It is a great alternative for those of us
who do not 'do' the bar scene and don't want to subject ourselves to the 'nerve-wracking' encounters promoted by dating/matching
services.
Thank you for your hard work. I hope you can follow your heart soon and make this your full-time focus.

Want to let you know how much I enjoyed the second event. Everyone is easy to get along with and all enjoy having fun.
It is a "feel safe place". Thanks for all your hard work in not only getting it started but in keeping it going. I believe that

Gatherings at Valhalla, that was his 1st gathering as well. He called me about 1 week later and the rest as they say is history.

I had to tell you what a wonderful time I had at the Gathering's Dinner at
Piccolo Piccolo. I have to admit I was nervous, but the restaurant was
great, the food excellent and the company very interesting. I can't wait
for the next dinner and am already excited about the Members Only events.

I had a nice time at my first dinner last week at Primadonnas. The food
was very good and the owner was extremely gracious and friendly. Besides
the free appetizers he gave each of us a free bottle of his Italian
